Swallow's Dance Cottage Vermaaklikheid

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Swale View Cottages are on a large property overlooking the hamlet of Vermaaklikheid which is designated as a Nature Conservation Protectorate. An undeveloped area it offers a variety of attractions such as star-gazing, birdwatching, fishing, swimming, kayaking, boating (ps no skiing or jet skis allowed)mountain biking, and hiking. There are two separate cottages available, Under Milkwood and Swallow's Dance sleeping 7 persons in total.

This gorgeous riverside cottage offers rustic charm along with a newly built, more modern outside cottage. The main house sleeps 6 people & the new cottage 4 (all ensuite except for 1). Tranquil, yet filled with vibrancy & character, the main house features a large kitchen & lounge with stack-away doors that open onto a patio offering spectacular views & welcoming nature into your space. Situated right on the banks of the Breede River, it's the perfect setting for a peaceful river getaway!

The Blue Beach House: Main House

The Blue Beach House is a bright and spacious property decorated in a blue and white coastal theme. In a peaceful neighborhood comprising of mostly holiday homes, it has views of the river 50 meters away. A wide deck with a braai envelopes the living area on two sides. The unlimited fibre internet means the house is great for home working. The garden is enclosed and ideal for kids. Outdoors you can choose between the river walk, calm river beach, rock pools, coastal walk or several beaches.

Gweilo - Holiday Home for Large Groups or Families

Nestled along the Goukou River, our spacious family home offers a tranquil getaway. With two living areas, and indoor and outdoor braai's (bbq), it's perfect for group getaways. The home features two mezzanine master suites and four additional bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. Enjoy direct river access with a boat jetty, ideal for water activities. Whether relaxing by the river, exploring Stilbaai, or spending quality time with family or friends, this home is the perfect escape.

The Old Oke Riverhouse

Come and stay in the first container home in Malgas! Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Rolling lawn and river access, use one of our stand up paddle boards or the Kayak and enjoy the river directly from our jetty. A brand new entertainment section that leads off the outside decking which has comfy chairs, a big braai and separate fire pit is also now available at The Old Oke Riverhouse along with a jetty which has padding to protect your boat. Now with HOT TUB!

Breede River Cottage encourages a recharge with the freedom that we so often forget in our busy city lives. Wakeing up to the tranquil sounds of the birds, enjoying your first cup of coffee and contemplating the fun for the day. Ski directly from the private jetty, sit on the private low tide beach, Sup, paddle, fish, MTB or just read a book, these are some of the recommended activities. Most importantly, don’t forget to pack all your toys, the options are endless 😎

Long Thin Farm - Stone Cottage with river views

Stone Cottage is a beautifully appointed original stone cottage situated on Long Thin Farm. Nestled in behind a small, picturesque olive grove a little further up the hill & offers beautiful views of the river & surrounding farmland. The riverfront is accessible from the cottages by taking a short stroll few hundred yards sloping down through the vines & olive orchards. 2 Bedrooms, bathroom, open plan kitchen,lounge and dining area. Waterryk is Perfect for nature lovers, spring water flows throughout the house, cows in the pastures and roosters to wake you up. With all the fresh air, you will struggle to find a better nights sleep. Wood is supplied for all the braai areas. Waterryk is Perfect for couples, business travelers, and families (with kids). Situated a short 6km from town, it is an easy ride to the beach, or into town, but far enough to still feel relaxed.

Private little cottage in the field away from all the buzz. Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Just 5.5km gravel road. If very wet, you need a Suv or4 x 4 vehicle. All off the grid with no Eskom, no wi-fi, no tv. Only solar for lights, gas for hot water, stove and fridge/freezer. Wood for barbecue and fireplace.
