This cottage has lots of space & is a favourite for families or reunions. Even large groups will find they have room for private time and group hang outs. The river is slow moving and warm in the summer months but too cold and fast for swimming or boating in the off season (usually Nov-May). No development across the river and neighbours two lots away on either side makes for a private and quiet experience. A games room, board games, wii & gym space give you lots to do on rainy days.

Located one hour from Toronto, Birchwood is a luxury camping experience for two. Immersed in a private forest on Scugog Island, our geodesic dome allows for a cozy and relaxing getaway. Decorated with a beachy boho meets mid-century vibe, it's cozy and airy at the same time! The private deck offers the perfect place to listen to the birds and read a good book.
