The park is a great place for bird watching, walking, jogging, bike riding and fishing. We are only minutes away from Randolph AFB and historic Main St. Cibolo with unique dining and weekend entertainment options. The cottage is a 20 minute drive to downtown San Antonio, New Braunfels or Fort Sam Houston. Owners live next door.

PLEASE NOTE: due to the ongoing drought, large sections of the Blanco river are dry, including ours! The River House is a stone house set above the Blanco river among huge oak trees. From the quaint, screened entry porch to the large deck with oak trees rising through it, the River House is a relaxing space for you to while away the hours. Kick back with your favorite beverage, put something on the grill and relax to the sounds of nature. And the stars are awesome!

Tucked beneath the trees just two miles from the Horseshoe on the Guadalupe River, this Canyon Lake cottage offers quiet seclusion and a front-row seat to Hill Country wildlife. River Roost is a family vacation spot on the lake that sleeps 6. It is 3 miles off Interstate 35, located in a quiet neighborhood with access to 50 feet of waterfront. It is a quick trip to downtown New Braunfels with features such as Schlitterbahn waterpark, tubing, antique and grocery stores, department stores, and a great selection of restaurants. A guest binder is provided with information about the area and surrounding communities.

Brodie's Bungalow on Lake Dunlap

Our cozy 1,000 sq. ft. guest house is located on an acre of land on Lake Dunlap in New Braunfels. We are 4 miles from downtown New Braunfels, and 5 miles from Gruene. Our main residence is on the same property, but you will enjoy your own space; the only thing we share is the main driveway into the property. This is a waterfront property-Guests agree to read, understand and adhere to the Liability Waiver in the house rules.
