The beach is just a few steps away and is great for walking. Punakaiki is 20 minutes from the house, Greymouth is also 20 minutes and Hokitika airport is a 50 minute drive to the south. Greymouth offers a range of eateries and there is a pub and hotel in Punakaiki. We are situated on state high way 6, which is well known for its spectacular scenery.
