Our listed heritage cottage makes for a luxurious self-catering Karoo escape and is conveniently situated in the heart of the “horseshoe” area of Graaff-Reinet. It is fully air conditioned for those sweltering Karoo days and features a back patio which is a perfect place for a quiet and cosy barbeque. Although an ideal "lock and go" for a group of 4, if you're needing space for more family and friends, you have the option to book our neighbouring property, 54 Middle Street, which also sleeps 4.

This unique house has recently been renovated and now boasts 3 en suite rooms. With beautiful wooden floors throughout the house it is very cosy. There is air conditioning in every room which is essential in the Graaff-Reinet summer. We also have hot blankets on the beds to make you comfortable during the cold winters. There are re charable lights throughout the house to beat loadshedding blues. We use a self checck in. Bring the whole family to this beautiful home with lots of room for fun!

Overnight at our quaint accommodation with its own private entrance in Graaff-Reinet, close to restaurants and a grocery store in a quiet part of town. Complete with little touches to make your stay feel like home. We provide handmade soap, homemade rusks, tea and coffee (even sherry!). Relax on the stoep which is parallel to the secure, behind-a-gate parking (with space for a trailer too) right at the stairs of the stoep of your accommodation. Stylish, peaceful, spacious, secure. Added benefit, dependent on avaialbility of host's husband, who is an active amateur astronomer, join him for a night out under the stars at the Telescope. Guest Review The cottage itself was lovely and well-equipped, with all the comforts of home. One of the highlights was the stargazing experience with the unique telescope – it was truly awesome! This historic townhouse is within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The private courtyard is ideal for a braai (barbecue), or a quiet coffee. The house is child-friendly, and pets are welcome too. A gun-safe is provided, ideal for hunters. The stove is gas, so cooking during load-shedding is never a problem! As with many Graaff-Reinet houses, there is ONLY ON-STREET PARKING. There is also no TV.
