Η γειτονιά είναι πολύ φιλόξενη και ήσυχη,100 μέτρα από το γραφικό λιμανάκι του Κολυμπαρίου και 20 μέτρα μακρυά από την παραλία. Πολύ κοντά στο σπίτι θα βρείτε σούπερ μάρκετ, φαρμακείο, γυμναστήριο, φούρνο, καφέ, παραδοσιακές ταβέρνες, μαγαζί με φρέσκα φρούτα και λαχανικά καθώς και μαγαζί με φρέσκα ψάρια. This small village house is in a picturesque neighborhood, just a short walk from the long sandy beach of Maleme, west of Platanias. The whole village used to compound an old Ottoman complex of warehouses and stables, while the house is next to an impressive dome which was one of the entrances to the complex.
