ESCAPE TO THE SEA in beautiful Carmarthenshire

A 2 bedroom, south facing chalet in a quiet area of a holiday park, with spectacular estuary & sea views. The light, airy accommodation sleeps 4/5 (ideal for couples & families, but can accommodate a maximum of 4 adults) A travel cot & high chair are available. The open plan living space overlooks the patio, the beach & open views. Facilities include a shower room, a well-equipped kitchen & a utility room with fridge freezer, washing machine & additional storage. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Cosy Log Cabin

Lovely, tranquil retreat on the road to Llansteffan, three miles from Carmarthen. The log cabin is at the far end of a large lily pond within the grounds of our three-acre garden. Features include a log burner, fluffy bathrobes, slippers and towels, DVD library, large box of games, private deck and garden area overlooking the pond, BBQ and outdoor lighting. NB: the Cosy Cabin does not have WiFi. It is not suitable for children under the age of 12 because of the log burner and the large pond.

The Gambo

The Gambo is a traditional Shepherd's Hut with all the modern comforts you need for a relaxing break. It has a king-size bed, a fitted kitchen with a 2 ring hob, kettle and full size fridge, a wood-burning stove and your own bathroom. There is a 2-seater snuggler settee to relax on and look out through the double doors at the spectacular view of the countryside and nearby coastline. Outside is a firepit, table and chairs and your own electric hot tub. Star gaze at the unpolluted night sky.

Mountain views and freedom to roam the farmland. 'The Bank' top has breathtaking panoramic views, perfect for sunset picnics or frosty strolls. After a day of hiking, cycling, fishing, golfing or beaching, guests can relax at Lan Llofft in a peaceful secluded setting.

Sitting above the Taf Estuary, Holt Cottage provides a perfect location to enjoy the peace and tranquility of an unspoilt part of Wales. Situated on the Welsh Coastal Path, we provide a base from which to explore the glorious Welsh coastline. A haven for wildlife with regular sightings of red kites, badgers and for the lucky few, otters at play. Holt Cottage is set in the countryside that Dylan Thomas would have gazed upon and has view of his Boathouse and Writing Shed.

Hafan Fferi is the perfect base to explore from, this cosy one bedroom cottage is ideal for solo guests or couples. Dog friendly, with fully enclosed garden and dogs welcome in all rooms. Just a 1-2 min walk to dog friendly beach (perfect for catching amazing sunsets) cafe and pub. Village shop opening by end Oct. Guests regularly comment on the comfortable bed and powerful shower. Lovely dog friendly cafe on the beach and dog friendly pub at the end of the lane.

The house is situated on the outskirts of Kidwelly and Ferryside which both have shops, cafes and pubs, and the train station is just a 10 min drive from the house, making it the perfect base to explore the delights of South Wales.
