Welcome to a luxury farm stay at Hanusarstova. Our guesthouse is designed by Kraft Architects to be beautiful, stylish and functional - but then again also a place to relax, reconnect and get inspired. The ocean view is ever changing, especially with all of the animals passing by. Although staying in a tiny town, The capital Tórshavn and other great sights are only 20 minutes away by car. It is possible to drive all the way to Hilmarsstova, locaded 90 meters over all other buildings with the most wonderful views of the surrounding area. On a clear evening you get unobstructed view to the twinkling stars above without disturbing city lighting,

Centralt på Færøerne, hygge og udsigt ved vandet.

Ny hyggelig lille lejlighed på loftet af et bådhus. Det er lige ved vandet, sandstrand og en lille marina. Pragtfuld udsigt over havet, bygden og de høje fjelde. Hósvík ligger centralt på Færøerne og er den perfekte base for at udforske øerne, eller bare slappe af i fredelige, flotte omgivelser. Lejligheden er perfekt til enkeltpersoner/par, med eller uden børn, som ikke trænger meget indendørs plads. Der er smalle trapper op i lejligheden, dvs. uegnet til folk som ikke er fuldt mobile.

Boathouse apartement in Hvalvík

Spacious new boathouse apartment located at the bay in a small village called Hvalvík on Streymoy. Less than an hour drive to the airport, half an hour drive to the capital and all the other islands. The apartment is 75 square meters, new in modern cozy style with a stunning view over the ocean. Only 3 minutes walk to bus stop and a great pizzeria/fastfood, and max 5 minutes drive to grocery stores, liquorstore and petrol station.

The cottage stands very close to the sea with a view of the fjord, the nearby marina and Torshavn. The house's unique location makes it possible to observe a varied wildlife of seabirds, some seals, fishing boats, cruise liners and container ships up close. This small house has two floors. The kitchen and living room are combined in one room on the ground floor and the bedroom and bathroom are on the 1. Floor.

Cosy cottage by the sea

You can find our cosy cottage in our backyard just by the sea. Here you can relax and enjoy the quiet neighborhood and beautiful surroundings. The cottage is suitable for a couple or two persons. Within a walking distance, there is a café/bar, tourist center, sagamuseum, souvenirshop, restaurant, birdcliff sightseeing, sea angling trips and a grocery store. 500 m to the bus connection to Tórshavn.

Peaceful boathouse with a view

We renovated this old boathouse recently. There is a rowingboat available as well. It is the family’s boat. The house offers you a peacefull sanctuary to collect your thoughts. 5 minutes walking distance to groceryshopping. Bus stop to the rest of the island is oposite the house as well. There is a bed for two people and a couch that also can fit two people

the Mountain cottage

Cozy cabin sitting in the small valley Vesturi í Dal, with the river Gjógvará running just by. The location offers a wonderful natural playground for children, the peace and quiet that only nature has to offer, all while being within a couple of kilometers of shops, resturant, bar, cultural house and information office.
