Le Pigsty at a Brittany Watermill

Reconnect with nature at this memorable escape Dating back to 1163 we are renovating our watermill on the banks of the river Couesnon, (which flows into the bay of Mount Saint Michel ). Our Pigsty gite which over looks the river, is located in the grounds of our water Mill We are in rural Brittany at the heart of the farming community. The sound of running water and wildlife gives a location in which to unwind and take in nature, such as the kingfisher or Salamander should they be about!

Built sometime in 1800 on the edge of the small village of Vieux-Viel in Brittany, this wonderful old schoolhouse stands in a large garden, surrounded by nature in the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel / Emerald Coast. Lovingly renovated and modernised, environment friendly and contemporary. The house offers a special living experience. The house is certified by "Gîtes de France", our guests will find relaxation and peace here with a special charm and lush nature.

Notre maison se situe en plein centre de la Bouexiere. Côté rue, vous aurez un accès direct à toutes les commodités de ce bourg très dynamique. Côté cour, vous goûterez à un espace calme et ensoleillé. La Bouexiere se situe à 20 minutes des portes de Rennes, à égale distance de charmants bourgs médiévaux (Vitré, Chateaubourg, Chateaugiron à 20 minutes), à 1 heure du Mont Saint Michel comme de Saint-Malo, ou des premières plages normandes.

Bienvenue chez nous! Vous aurez à disposition l’étage de notre maison auquel vous accéderez grâce à une entrée indépendante. Au rez-de-chaussée, possibilité d’utiliser une cuisine autonome. Entièrement restauré, le dortoir propose deux lits doubles et deux lits simples, un espace bureau et une salle de bain avec douche. Nous avons eu à cœur d’aménager cet espace avec goût et espérons que vous y trouverez le bien-être durant cette pause.

Elle dispose d'un jardinet et d'une terrasse équipée d'un barbecue et d'un salon de jardin. En impasse très tranquille , elle est située aux portes de Rennes à 2 minutes de la sortie 26 de l'A84. A 1 heure de St Malo et du Mont Saint Michel.

Romantic storytelling house

This is an old outbuilding where cider was made, completely renovated on 36m2 on the ground with a floating mezzanine floor. The accommodation is independent and offers all the modern comforts of a current home with all the useful equipment. The private park of more than 5000m2 is accessible to travelers who can also go see the goats and sheep in their enclosure.
