Welcome to our gorgeous apartment in the heart of Sydney's most stylish neighbourhood, Elizabeth Bay/Rushcutters Bay. The apartment is located on the entry level of a secure building, faces north with tranquil garden views. Although very central the apartment is located in a quiet, leafy street. The studio is fashionably decorated and is styled with captivating and dynamic contemporary Australian Indigenous art. Our apartment comfortably fits two people with a real (and comfortable) queen size bed, but can easily accommodate a 3rd guest on the large sofa. On arrival please make yourself at home. I have left a tray with essentials bread, milk, etc or there is a bottle of Australian wine in the fridge. Designed and equipped for Airbnb visitors, the apartment is surrounded by walking streets, shopping, cafes and restaurants in an attractive village style area. The weekend markets are full of organic produce, quirky street shopping & more great coffee! Metro buses & trains are only minutes away, although it's only a short walk to the city and surrounds. The apartment is 5 minutes walk to harbour side, Beare and Rushcutters Bay parks, tennis courts and marina. It is 5 - 15 minutes walk to galleries, and the retail and restaurant precincts of Darlinghurst, Surry Hills, Woolloomooloo and Potts Point. We provide a computer/internet/wi fi/television for use, plus a few notable books and guides that will introduce you to Australian/Sydney life and culture. The kitchen has ample cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, oven, microwave, large fridge, dishwasher and essential foodstuffs for your visit. Towels and fresh linen are provided and the bathroom is stocked with a variety of toiletries and many handy items to enhance your visit if you should need them. The bathroom includes a washing machine/dryer & hairdryer and powerpoint in the cupboard. There is a very long full length mirror in the hallway. The apartment is comfortable, well appointed, clean and safe. There is also a roof top garden area for views of surrounding regions and embodies an outdoor, more casual roof-top garden atmosphere. You will have the entire apartment to yourselves. We will try to meet you as you arrive to give the grande tour plus leave you the keys. However, my busy academic schedule precludes being available all of the time. I visit the Western Desert regularly. Details will be provided at time of booking. There is one set of keys, two keys to the set. Please leave the keys on the kitchen bench when you leave. We use hospital grade disinfectant on all surfaces before any guests arrive we have our own professional cleaners to ensure a safe environment ) The apartment is ground floor with no stairs. The building is a security building and also in a very safe neighbourhood. The guests have full private access to the apartment, it's set up as a serviced apartment and guests staying over 7 days will receive weekly cleaning and linen change. All linen is Hotel grade and high quality. There is also a coin operated laundry at the rear of the building. I live nearby and our office is down the street but unless you need to see me I won't be there to meet you. We have after hours check in and security in the building North Sydney is a fantastic neighbourhood. it's just across the bridge from the CBD but is more residential. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets in the area. Nearby there is also Sydney's famous Harbourside amusement park. The bus to the city is about 2 minutes walk from the apartment, there is also North Sydney train station about 10 minutes walk (note its uphill from the station). If you want to take an uber it's less than 5 minutes to the middle of the city. Also if you wanted to walk it's about 45 minutes to walk across the bridge. North Sydney itself has everything you need from shopping to Supermarkets and many dozens of food options The parking is for one standard car or suv. It’s down the end of a narrow driveway. Which is tight. (The driveway is on the left side of the building ) The space is on the right at the end of the drive. (Note there are 2 car spaces so you need to leave space for the second car). It is uncovered. But it is off-street and the car can be left for the duration of your stay until check out. But not after check out time. And it’s not guaranteed to be available until check in time.

Alternatively, a short walk to the light rail which services Darling Harbour, Chinatown and ends up at Central Railway Station. There is a convenience store, Japanese restaurant and cafe, less than 50m walk from the lift. The convenience store supplies Opal Cards (the Sydney transport card for bus, train, light rail and ferry).
