The Hideaway Bristol/bath

The hideaway is nestled above a private field, in a grove of fir trees, overlooking the rolling fields of Hanham hills This hidden sanctuary provides an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life and allows you to fully immerse yourself in nature. Lie in bed listening to the dawn chorus or spend a night under the stars in our private field, the hideaway offers a truly unforgettable experience. Situated 20 minuets away from both Bristol and Bath, this hand-built hideaway is perfect for those looking for an idyllic country setting with the opportunity to explore two culturally beautiful cities. The hideaway is ideally located to provide privacy whilst offering spectacular views of the South West countryside. It has been designed efficiently to maximise space but maintains comfort and ensures a relaxing stay. Accommodating 2 guests, the Shepherd’s Hut is split into a cosy, elevated sleeping compartment with curtains and a fully equipped kitchenette/living area, beautifully furnished giving a rustic feel. Separated from the living space by a curtain, the bedroom compartment is cosy and private, boasting a large king-sized bed. The hut also provides a large adjustable , wall-mounted TV, complete with Wi-Fi, which can be watched from the living area or the bedroom. The kitchenette is perfect for preparing simple meals, offering a sink with hot and cold water, handsome wooden worksurfaces, a microwave,oven,grill, 3 in 1 a kettle, and a fridge. After preparing your meal, you can sit on the soft sofa in front of the TV or take a seat on the foldable dining chairs accompanied with a foldable dining table. On a pleasant, sunny day you can take your meal outside and enjoy the rich birdsong that fills the air whilst eating your meal. If you are lucky, you may spot the deer that roam the fields surrounding the hut. Located a few meters away from the main space is a separate hut containing the surprisingly spacious bathroom a large heated wet room complete with a W.C and washbasin. If an indoor shower does not appeal to you, the hut also provides a unique outdoor shower. Complete with hot and cold water, it is a memorable feature for you to enjoy, no matter the weather. A few steps away from the doors to the hut is a wooden staircase that leads you down into the field where you are free to roam and relax. Why not take one of the picnic blankets provided and enjoy a tranquil afternoon cup of tea on the grass or sipping the prosecco gifted to you in your Welcome Pack. This offers the best of both worlds. It is rural but well connected as there are several main roads that run through the area. It offers lovely country walks, many close to the river Avon. There are many public houses in the area (4 within a 10 min walk and an additional 5 within a 10 min drive) as well as local supermarkets. It is located halfway between Bath and Bristol; it is half an hour’s drive to each. Both are vibrant, fascinating cities with many attractions. Bath boasts the famous Roman Baths, Thermae Bath Spa and the iconic Royal Crescent. Bristol is famous for the incredible Clifton Suspension Bridge and the bustling bars and cafes along the Harbourside. We are also located 20 minutes away from the outstanding National Trust Area- Dyrham Park. A parking space will be provided for you. You will be given a key to access the Hut.

The Cabin

Tastefully decorated log cabin tucked away in large private garden. Bathroom, shower & small kitchen (sink, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave). Perfect for a weekend getaway, traveller to south west or working away in the Bristol area. 5 mins from the M4/M5 interchange, 10 mins from the Severn Bridge and Cribbs Causeway. Off street parking and range of nearby amenities; pubs, garage and supermarkets. Easy reach to Wales and the Cotswolds, Mendips and Forest of Dean. Use of garden and patio.

The Studio in Blagdon

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Directly opposite Blagdon Church, with beautiful walks to be discovered nearby and of course a stunning view of Blagdon lake. The New Inn Pub (next door) is run by Yeo Valley, offers lunch and dinner as well as breathtaking panoramic views of the lake over a drink in the gardens. The Studio is a 5 minute drive from Combe Lodge and Aldwick and a 30 minute walk away. Perfect for wedding guests. Bristol Airport is a 10 minute drive away
