Controlled Chaos Basecamp is a Northwoods Adventure Cabin located in the middle of Wisconsin's best ATV/UTV and Snowmobile trails, on the border of Jackson and Clark Counties, just 10 miles north of Black River Falls. We are close to 10 different river landings on the Black River and multiple creeks with Class I to Class III rapids plus lake access at Lake Arbutus and Wazee Lake County Park a short drive away. Close to Levis Mound epic mountain biking, cross-country skiing and hiking, snowmobiling, ATV/UTV trails, Lake Arbutus, Lake Wazee, Black River State Forest and Bruce Mound Winter Sports. Outdoor spaces include a firepit, grill, deck and screen porch and fourth floor balcony at tree canopy level. Relax or work remotely in this well-stocked, thoughtful and peaceful retreat.

Promise Lodge

Promise Lodge was designed and built by award-winning architect Walter Nitsch in the 70's. The MCM style is highlighted by strong lines, beautiful wood, and expansive windows with incredible views. This lodge along with 2 others is nestled on 23 acres along the Black River. The property features a full football field, baseball field, basketball court, walking trails, fishing pond, sand volleyball pit, fire pits, and the shared use of an entertainment garage with pool table, foosball, and bar.
