Quiet and secluded, surrounded by 28 acres of woods. Perfect for fishermen and recreation. Parking for boat/ trailer. Dock has electric. A canoe is provided. 15-minute boat ride to Clarksville. Launch is 4 miles from property. Private entrance, 2nd floor. No meals served. Over 10 yrs is an extra guest.

Wildlife abounds on our woodland plant farm. Approximately 15 minutes from Ft. Barfoot, this is the perfect place to stay in Blackstone if you want to get away!

Barndominium oasis on 22 acres

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. Enjoy this little one bedroom one bathroom apartment just a short distance from Kerr Lake & Clarkesville. Open the barn doors, grab a beer and enjoy the night fire under the star Happy to host events on the property, just let me know what kind and how many people! Bring your own tents, chairs, tables and have a blast :) Ps. There is no internet available at this time. We do have a lifetime supply of DVDs :) Boats are welcome in the garage!

"Rest for the Weary 2" in South-Central Virginia is 25 minutes from Farmville, location of Longwood University, 35 minutes from Ft Barfoot and South Boston, 30 minutes from Blackstone, and north-west of South Hill, in Lunenburg County. We're 7 minutes from Southside Virginia Community College, and 15 minutes from Hampden/Sydney College, and only 9 minutes from the Waverly Estate, a wedding venue in Lunenburg County. We're about 30 minutes from VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital.

Lakefront Cottage w/ great view and use of dock

The sunlit cottage is perfect place to enjoy the largest lake in Virginia, exploring nearby state parks, the quaint town of Clarksville, or nearby breweries/wineries. The cottage offers an open view of the lake and use of a dock (150 yds from house) for fishing, swiming, docking watercraft or watching the sunset. A great retreat for a small family of 4 or 2 couples. Please indicate the number of guests; parties over 4 must be pre-approved. Reservation must be by an adult (age 21+).

Buggs Island Bungalow

Buggs Island Bungalow One of the oldest residences in Clarksville, the house dates back to the 1800's. We purchased it in 2019 and have lovingly renovated the space and returned it to its former glory. Enjoy all the amenities Clarksville has to offer. Enjoy morning coffee on the screened porch and then stroll to the lake or downtown for antique shopping, and then enjoy a brew at Buggs Island Brewing Company. Please note due to parking constraints we cannot accommodate boat parking.

During deer hunting season, arrangements can be made to use deer stand on the farm.

Farm House Retreat

This quaint 1743 farmhouse has been lovingly restored and offers a quiet reprieve from the city or rest from a long drive. We are at the end of a private road and are nestled among 70 acres of hardwood forest. Nights are dark and quiet and days are filled with free ranging chickens and guinea fowl. We are diligently rebuilding native habitat and work on site. Our home is on the property across the ponds. A confirmed identity is required for booking.
