House of Zen: Peaceful Modern Cabin on Tryon Farm

The House of Zen is an architect designed home situated in the woods, part of a sustainable farm community on 170 acres. Only an hour drive from Chicago, and close to Indiana Dunes National Park, it is the ultimate escape. The perfect getaway for couples, creatives and nature lovers who want some peace, quiet and space. Explore the farm trails & enjoy the wildlife and soothing sounds. Note: We have a 3 night minimum stay during summer, but open up 2 night stays 1-2 weeks before if possible.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful sanctuary. Charming classic cottage literally across the road from Warren Dunes (0.4 miles to the State Park entrance). The house sits on a partially wooded acre, with wooded state land on one side, no nearby neighbors, and a fenced portion of yard for the pets or little ones. Large deck with outdoor seating + grill; fire pit in back yard + excellent dark sky viewing opportunity. The house sits close to the road, but all bedrooms are in rear.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Unpack and enjoy our quiet and safe neighborhood with beautiful views of the river for those evening walks! The 4 bedroom 2 bath comes with a fully stocked kitchen and lounging areas to watch your favorite shows and movies. Enjoy the views of the channel from the gas grill as you prepare a delicious meal with the family. After a great meal, make some memories with some board/card game Close to great restaurants and hospital near by.

Lakefront cottage on Koontz Lake

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This one bedroom with hide a bed cottage has a beachy theme. It shares a fire pit and patio with owner. Access to pier if you bring your boat. Or you can fish or swim off the pier. Pets are allowed and it is gated. Off street parking is provided. There is a local brewery and other restaurants nearby. 30 minutes to South Bend and 20 minutes to Plymouth. We look forward to sharing our cute little cottage on the lake. Managed by Deb Minich.
