Relaxing Country Getaway- come hike or just R&R

This is an eclectic space that was a former art studio. The artist who lives just next door, keeps a private working studio in the loft. Although it is inaccessible to our guests, you will see her art on the walls and her creative side in the large lady shown in the pictures. Firepit and wood available. 5 hiking trails on 300 acres! Nov7-Dec 7th we will have hunters and trails may not be available Important: please read the house rules before booking with pets. We do also have a pet fee.

College Hill Cottage is located on College Hill, on the scenic, historic site of Weethee Academy in the heart of the Appalachian region of Ohio. Just 15 miles from Athens, Ohio, enjoy the peace and tranquility of the private, spacious yard relaxing on the large front deck, or the side porch. Plenty of space for relaxing, picnics, or watching the deer, turkeys, birds, and squirrels. Close proximity to Ohio University, Hocking Hills, Lake Hope, and Burr Oak State Parks, and Wayne National Forest.

There is a queen bed, full bath and kitchenette (microwave, coffee pot & mini fridge) on main level. Guests are welcome to use outside kitchen which has full fridge, gas, charcoal & flat top grill. This two bedroom cabin is located within minutes of Burr Oak State Park in the heart of the Ohio Outback. Hunting on thousands of acres of public land. This cozy cabin is close to many attractions such as , Wolf Creek, Muskingum River, AEP Recreation lands, Ohio Valley Opry, bike trails and fishing . Take a scenic drive on route 78 also known as Rim Of The World. If you want to take a nature hike there are many trails in the area including the Buckeye Trail.

The Tired Beagle has ample parking and located next to road for quick access.
