The Stables - Farm at Freeburgh on Ovens River

With direct, private access to the Great Valley Trail and the Ovens River, The Stables provides luxurious bespoke accommodation and complimentary mountain bikes for your stay. Located on 10 acres, The Stables is an outbuilding to the family home, along with our farm stay, The Barn. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, only a short 45 minute drive away for hiking & skiing. Valley View Heights is a new, semi-detached, self-contained flat located a short walk from Bright town centre. Views across the mountains, this cosy retreat is ideal for a weekend away with your loved one to relax and unwind. Close to Bright bike trails, Bright walking trails/tracks, shops & restaurants. Also Ski resorts in Winter. Dog friendly only. For the cyclists or other sports enthusiasts, a large lockable storage shed is available for use to keep your belongings and equipment safe.

The Murray to Mountains Rail Trail is right on our doorstep and we are also directly behind the Bright golf course- so pack your clubs! From Green Gables, it is an easy walk, ride or drive into the township of Bright with its boutique shops and eateries, regular festivals and of course beautiful European style landscape all nestled in the foothills of the Victorian Alps.
