Our cosy cottage on the edge of Blaengarw village, in a valley surrounded by mountains, and small lakes. Amazing walking country on the doorstep with dramatic views, and we are dog-friendly (but sorry, no cats). Real fire, Netflix, DVDs & books for huddled nights in. Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. And we live round the corner for any advice or help!

Afan Forest Park Heather View

This beautifully renovated three-story house offers stunning views of the mountains and the historic old railway bridge Ideal for all leisure based activities. Providing easy access to the network of mountain bike trails, and a short ride to Afan Park visitors centre. The beach is a 45-minute cycle ride, which can be accessed using the cycle path network. Situated in a quiet, semi-rural village is this charming, three-bedroom holiday home. On road parking for two cars, tastefully-presented interiors, and a spacious outdoor garden with seating and private hot tub. When it's time to relax, wind down in the sitting area, which is kept warm and toasty by a woodburning stove. When you're ready for some activity, head into Afan Forest Park, which houses a plethora of wonderful circular walks and bike trails and a local pub/restaurant.

Within Afan Forest Park it has easy access to mountain bike trails (the 'Wall' runs to the rear of the house and Rhyslyn is just a short walk down the road), walks and fishing. The cottage has very secure bike storage and tools. It is set in glorious countryside with superb views. Within driving distance of the Beacons and the Gower, beaches and mountains are all available to you.
