Period cottage in a area of outstanding natural beauty within the Peak District on the banks of the river Dane. Lovely views and walking straight from the door along the river, through the woods and up onto the Roaches, Tittersworth ( Bird Sanctuary circular walk around the reservoir, 5 miles) Ashmount is strictly for 2 guests as you are in my home albeit the space is yours for the time of your stay i live in a totally separate part of the property I am close enough should you require help

Built with all the mod cons such as underfloor heating, modern heating systems, fast Wifi Broadband access; with huge lounge, modern kitchen and bathrooms, this is a cosy retreat even in winter. Our studio has been a complete labour of love and now we're finally ready to share this beautiful little spot. You can wake up and hike until your hearts content, take in the sights in town and end your day reclining on the sofa with a cosy pellet burner. We have ample parking, private entrance, walking distance (1.2miles) to town (bars & restaurants), bus stop to Buxton / Macclesfield. Wifi, Sky TV,Netflix. DanLea Moor shepherds hut

This is a beautiful shepherds hut that has everything you need to relax and unwind. It is fully set up with all you will need from pots and pans to washing up liquid. There is a composting toilet to the side of the hut. This is a stunning part of the country with so many beautiful natural walks and views. Please note this is not suitable for anyone with low mobility due to slight walk from vehicle to the hut and stairs to access the accommodation No showers or bathroom Two adults only
