Welcome to the High Country Hobo Preserve. This hidden gem is nestled in the Cleveland National Forrest. Guest cabin has all amenities: wood burning fireplace, board games, fishing poles, bottle house, bbq, and gold pans for when the creek is flowing. An outdoor fire pit if winds are calm. It has old character, unique charm, and is close to old mining town, Julian. Kitchen has fridge, hot plate, grill, microwave, coffee maker- coffee tea provided. Pets welcome, has dog door, fenced yard.

Our Country Getaway is located in the San Diego County area in a beautiful "Tuscany like" area. For our 7 night stays we go as low as $107/night. Mid-Century Modern Gem

This swinging cool mid-century modern house is close to the Anza Borrego State Park and the small town or Borrego Springs. It is right on the De Anza Country Club Golf Course. Most of the architectural details have remained untouched since this home was built in 1957. It’s a real time capsule. Almost all of the rooms have doors that open on to a large covered patio that runs the length of the house. The outdoor patio has portable heaters for Al Fresco dining.

We spent over a year lovingly renovating and remodeling this vintage fire lookout cabin into a luxury vacation rental with a spacious Hot Springs spa. The two-bedroom, one-bath cabin is just over a mile from the historic town of Julian, yet it’s a private sanctuary with panoramic forest and Volcan Mountain Preserve views. The Enchanted Lookout is beautifully cleaned and sanitized after each stay.
