Short 10 minute walk to the beach over the Davis Canal. Private entrance with access to fenced in back yard with firepit, hammock. After a day at the beach you can rinse off in the private, enclosed outdoor shower. Enjoy your fresh catch of the day on the outdoor grill, and enjoy it outside if you like at the cozy outdoor dining nook.

Right on the lake within the bird sanctuary, the home provides a tranquil retreat while being convenient to the beach, shopping, golf, and dining. This charming single level home is fully loaded so you can be comfortable and feel right at home. Enjoy sitting on the front and back porch with your morning coffee or evening cocktail, or traveling around the coast with Oak Island, Southport, Wilmington all a short drive away!

Wilmington's "Jungle Room"

We would like to extend a warm Southern welcome to all of our Guests staying in Wilmington's "Jungle Room." The separate Guest room is set in a beautiful tropical garden full of interesting and fascinating plants-palms, staghorn ferns, colorful bromeliads, and many more. One of our hobbies is propagating these plants because of their beauty and overall dramatic effect. If we've done it right, you can easily imagine you are in a tropical rain forest right here in Southeastern NC!
