Our property is a peaceful oasis surrounded by trees and wildlife. It’s the perfect getaway from the bustling city life. We have put in a lot of love and effort in making our chalet comfortable and welcoming for our guests, creating an environment where you can relax, unwind and recharge. Your stay includes two paddle boards so if water exploring and sun bathing on the scenic Bogue Falaya sounds up your alley then look no further. Your just a few miles drive from the new public kayak launch that leads to multiple sand bars.

Sunhillow Farm Getaway

This secluded 3-bedroom cabin has everything you need for your perfect Louisiana-getaway. No traffic, noise or people. Located on 220 acres adjacent to the Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge, the property includes freshwater lakes, a beach, and multiple trails for a beautiful morning or evening walk. Guests have easy access to the BCNWR for deer, hog, etc. hunting, as well as canoes and kayaks. We have blueberries, whitetail deer and chickens supplying fresh eggs, when laying.

The Lily Pad

The Lily Pad is located on a 34 acre homestead/farm. This sweet tiny home faces a quaint pond (seasonally the pond is shallow and less visible) with beautiful trees and wildlife surrounding it. The well lit space is perfect for almost any occasion. A quick getaway, a peaceful space to practice your art form, or a lovely place to unwind and recharge. This thoughtful space has two lofted bedrooms (not totally private from the rest of the tiny house). A cook friendly kitchen!

Rustic country charm! "Chickie's Roost" is a two story apartment like space in a barn overlooking a farm and a beautiful pecan orchard. Private entrance, upstairs is an open loft with queen bed, full bed, futon, TV, sink, microwave, refrigerator, 2 coffee makers and bathroom. Downstairs is a separate space with Roku TV and a sleeper sofa. 100 Mbps internet is available for interested teleworkers!
