De B&B ligt in Blokker: een klein dorpje in de provincie Noord-Holland, gelegen nabij de historische havensteden Hoorn en Enkhuizen. Achter onze woning (voormalig boerderijtje uit 1834)bevindt zich de B&B: een vrijstaande chalet (een hoge lichte ruimte) gelegen aan de rand van de royale tuin. Omschrijving Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is gevestigd in Oostwoud in het hart van Westfriesland. Het is een cottage-achtige woning gelegen achter ons glasatelier in de diepe tuin aan het water. Het is te huur als B&B maar ook als vakantiewoning voor een langere periode. Er is o.a. een Grand Cafe De Post om de hoek waar heerlijk gegeten kan worden en een pizza eettentje Giovanni Midwoud die ook bezorgd. Er is tegen betaling een motorbootje aanwezig. Cosy and quiet 3 story-house in the heart of the beautiful and historical centrum of Hoorn. Walking distance to musea, restaurants and shopping streets. Very complete, including 2 complimentary bicycles and a Chromecast for rainy days. Interesting for you to know is that we blok 2-3 weeks every year in order to do maintenance on the house. Guarantee of cleanliness and comfort for you. From 2022-23 nature park is the city beach promenade available only 3-4 minutes walk from the house.

The deck-house and wheelhouse in the back of a former sailing cargo-ship van 1888 is transformed into a small apartment . The rest of the boat is a shop with sailing / marine equipment and a bunker station. The entrance is due to the age of the ship a small steep stair, keep that in mind. The surrounding is a lively harbor with sail-ships and cruise-ships. There is a parking available for €5 - a night very closeby. So enjoy the sound and movements of the water!

Het appartement is gelijkvloers en is voorzien van een moderne kitchenette met kookbenodigdheden, zit-gedeelte met televisie, tweepersoonsbed en badkamer. Een stukje buiten en eigen parkeerplek; all in the deal. Op aanvraag kan een campingbedje en/of de slaapbank worden gebruikt.
