Busses to Utrecht, Vianen, trainstaton Driebergen-zeist, Amersfoort, Wijk bij Duurstede and Wageningen are within 2 to 5 min walking distance. It's a 20 min bus ride to Utrecht center ('t Neude). Also close to the central highway (A12).

In het pitoreske Voorthuizen is van alles te doen, dus naast rust is er veel vertier te vinden in de omgeving. Elke zaterdag markt en genoeg terrassen rondom het plein.
