This is a perfect getaway for up to 6 people. In the summer you can swim right off the end of the dock on the property. There is also good bass and pickerel fishing in the river.

Plenty of activities to do: swim from the dock, canoe/kayak, fish, bike, golf, ski, explore the Gatineau Park, the Nordik Spa, etc. (CITQ#304057. The magnificent views from the home and the two large decks come with some effort and this vacation paradise is not recommended for those with mobility issues.

Spend the afternoon on your private waterfront dock, reading a book or kayak up river and float back down. In the evening, roast marshmallows on the campfire or take a relaxing soak in the hot tub. This cabin can sleep up to five people (twin, double, and loft has a queen) Includes small kitchen unit with mini-fridge, sink (no running water but jug of water provided) and double burner stove. The kitchen accessories seen in the photos are what is provided. We ask that you not bring your own dish soap, to protect our ecosystem we will provide it. BEDDING IS NOT PROVIDED PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PILLOWS AND BLANKETS.

Nestled in the trees is a very rare and secluded year round log home on the shores of the Rideau River. This convenient location is only a 5 minute drive to the main part of Kemptville and 30 minutes from Ottawa. 2 canoes and SUP included! Winter activities include snowmobiling (trail is at the end of the driveway), snowshoeing trails, cross country skiing, and ice fishing.
