We finished building this modern Scandinavian cabin in spring 2020. It’s been featured in Vogue and on Magnolia Network. The cabin sits at the end of the road on a private lot with a perfect view of sunsets over the nature side of the lake. Drive past farm fields, into the woods, and onto our private gravel road, arriving at the driveway. Watch loons, tundra swans, eagles, beavers and deer while you relax by the lake. Pontoon boat rental is available as an add on! Pets welcome for a $90 fee!

Only an hour north of the Twin Cities, enjoy modern conveniences like WIFI (60mbps), smart TV, complete kitchen, full bathroom, a bedroom and loft both with queen beds, a cozy living room with a real wood fireplace and an outdoor electric barrel sauna. The Bunkhouse is a beautifully appointed, spacious full apartment above a large garage with private entrance. Located on beautiful Balsam Lake, you will enjoy shared access to the lake. If you wish to use the dock for a single watercraft or rent a pontoon, please let me know at the time of booking to ensure availability. Enjoy The Bunkhouse for its cozy northwoods atmosphere year round while exploring everything Balsam Lake and the surrounding Polk County area has to offer.
