Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

"고즈넉한 그때가 당신의 기억에 머물 즈음." 안녕하세요. 전주 한옥스테이 무렵입니다. 1978년대에 지어진 무렵의 한옥은 흔히 볼 수 있는 한옥집과는 다르게 얇고 비정형적인 서까래, 낮은 층고로 소박하면서 특별하게 느껴지는 매력적인 한옥집입니다. 온통 한옥집들로 둘러 쌓인 낮은 한옥에 들어섰을 때, 한국적인 고즈넉함이 온전하게 느껴지는 특별한 경험을 받았습니다. 낮은 한옥에서의 느꼈던 특별한 경험, '고즈넉하 순간'을 다른 이들과 나누고자, '과거의 기억에 자리 잡을 순간 (그 즈음)을 제공' 을 주제로 한옥스테이 무렵을 개업했습니다.
