Formerly Long Lake Apartments, HighPlaines Lodge is located in the peaceful South Dakota town of Long lake SD, 60 miles NW of Aberdeen, only 13 miles south of Ashley, North Dakota, center of the Dakota's best game hunting (pheasant, duck, variety of geese and deer) as well as best fishing the upper midwest has to offer: walleye, perch and northern pike. The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique space. we have bird and fish cleaning in the basement if your in the area hunting or fishing. Theres 3 bedrooms in this fully furnished suite. Full kitchen and livingroom with a large comfy sectional for kicking up your feet. you really don't need to bring much!!!! just groceries. The Bars and Restaurants are all within walking distance from the lodge and the gas station is just across the street in case you need a quick snack.

The Ashley Home

This cozy home has an open floor plan and very homey feel. It's great for large groups such as hunting, fishing and work crews. If you're planning on spending more than a few days in the area, this is the place. You are located within walking distance of most anything you'll need in town and a few minutes drive from great hunting and fishing spots. Four bedrooms easily sleep eight, plus an additional set of bunk beds in the laundry area allowing for two extra friends.
