Elm cottage is a great place to escape to and explore the Peak District including Thors Cave, Hartington, Tissington and Mam Tor. Local pubs, cafes and shops are excellent, just a short drive away and public footpaths from on site. We have some local walks from site on National Trust land. Away from the hustle and bustle, this peaceful spot has unrivalled far reaching views of the peaks and your own bench outside to enjoy them, or the stars! The village also boasts a Michelin guide restaurant and a regular concert programme.

Pretty Victorian riverside cottage, Alstonefield

Dove Cottage is a former Victorian fishing lodge in a unique setting on the banks of the river Dove. It is situated 3/4 mile from the pretty village of Alstonefield and 5 1/2 miles north of the bustling market town of Ashbourne. The cottage overlooks a tranquil stretch of river running through Wolfscote Dale and a historic former water mill. A riverside footpath passes the bottom of the garden leading north along the river to Hartington and south to Dovedale and the Stepping Stones.

Dovedale Glamping

Situated in the quaint Peak District village of Alstonefield, this cosy bell tent is a stones throw from Dovedale and the river Dove. Sited on a small adults only campsite, the bell tent offers the perfect glamping experience.
