Our C17th stone barn home with self-contained guest wing & tree house, is set in woodland high up, with stunning views of the Brecon Beacons. We are close to Pen y Fan, the spectacular 4-waterfall walk & many others, caves, and a popular area for cyclists, with Bike Park Wales & Zip World Tower nearby. Dogs welcome, (2 max). Ideal for small families. (Please read the notes below thoroughly). Maximum group size is 4 plus babies. Because the main living spaces are not large enough for more.

Kitchen facilities fridge/microwave/kettle/toaster/halogen oven as well as en-suite shower/toilet. Just 10 minutes walking distance to Bridgend town centre for mainline rail and bus stations. Cardiff 20 minutes/Swansea 20 minutes. Great beaches/Mountain scenery close by as well as a good golf course and driving range.

A beautifully restored Victorian railway carriage hand-crafted by Graham from local hillside timber with star gazing clear roof above the bed. Spring Farm’s authentic railway carriage is set in a secluded orchard with stunning panoramic views down the whole length of the Bryn Awr valley to the Brecon Beacons. Cartref is a mid terraced stone built cottage. The accommodation consists of two bedrooms, each with a double bed, a large comfortable lounge with a small dining area, a fully fitted kitchen.Check in after 3pm,check out before 11am. Unfortunately we do not allow pets in the cottage.There is on street parking outside the cottage but is on a first come basis.If you arrive and no parking just put a note on windscreen to say you are in the cottage with arch over front door .

Old Miners Cottage, Abercanaid

This bright and modern old miners cottage is a self contained home which includes 3 bedrooms and a practical bathroom on the first floor. Meanwhile the ground floor contains a kitchen and a large living/dining area with lots of light. The garden includes a lock up area for 6 bikes, where padlocks can be added as well as a place to sit to have a drink and relax. WIFI is FREE! We are perfectly located for Bike Park Wales, Brecon Beacons, Merthyr Rising, etc.
